It's Getting Warmer!!

I love warm weather! It is going to be so fun this summer to have little Brekka playing outside. Today, we started the day out with swinging at our apartment. The girls loved it, but kept losing their shoes. (Brekka never keeps hers on)

We were also able to go for a walk out at Edson Fichter. It was such a perfect day for it... we couldn't resist! Addie and Brekka were in the stroller together and Lilly was in the other one. About halfway through the walk, Brekka passed out on Addie. She was such a tired girl!
And then there was Lilly...
That cracked me up. They are so dang cute!

Oh and guess who is almost 9 months old already...Brekka girl! We took her pictures today.

See, she can barely believe she is that old!

Tonight, Dallon shaved his beard off! Not that I didn't love it or anything...but I didn't. :)

The only downer of him shaving his beard off is that...
The mustache still lives, and it's curly! Silly silly boy. Only for one more day. I think I can handle it :) I still love him.

Well, thats it. Adios. Love, peace, my hair is full of grease. (That's for you Star)

Holy smokes! I don't know what to call this!

Whew! I am obviously really good at this whole blogging thing. I never know what to write about!

Try not to laugh... I dare you! Well, a picture is worth a 1000 words, right?? I am pretty sure I peed a little whenever Sanae showed me this picture. When Brekka was first standing up against things, her legs would slowly slide out farther and farther. Don't worry, she is starting to figure it out now :)

A couple of weekends ago, I went to Time Out for Women with Marci and Brekka...and Dallon. Yes Dallon went. :) He worked in the Deseret Book store and helped me take care of Brekka :) This was the most uplifting experiences ever. So many wonderful people there. I loved it because it wasn't all just LDS people there. Just anyone who wanted to go, could.  If you haven't ever been, I'd highly recommend it. Totally worth the money!

Sunday, as Dallon and I were getting ready for church, this is how we found our sweet baby Brekka, She is such a little cutie pie! Today she went to get weighed and measured. She is a whoppin 16lbs 3 oz! And she is 27.5 inches tall. Yep, definitely gets the height from her dads side of the family. :)

Today would have been Brekka's Great Great Grandma Wood's 91st birthday. Can I just say, I miss this lady like its nobody's business. She is such a gem. It's amazing how living with someone for only one year could mean so much. I am glad that her and Grandpa Wood get to celebrate her special day together this year. We love you so much Grandma Wood!

I got a blog?!

Oh my....well here it goes! Let the blogging begin! I have wanted to do this since Brekka was born...almost 8 months ago :P Talk about procrastination!
First, I will tell you about myself. Hello. I'm Chuck. Sharlyn, Charly, Charles. Really whatever you want to call me, I'll answer to it. I grew up in Pocatello and so did my husband Dallon. We met in high school (not sure how or when ;) ) We started dating while I was living in Alaska with my oldest sister Steph after he got home from his mission. His mom is the best match maker ever. Seriously, if you ever need help in that department, she's got your back. haha. We were married August 5, 2011. That was such a fun day. I will never forget it. Construction at the Idaho Falls Temple and throwing up at the reception... Would you expect anything different from us? ;)

Four months after we were married, I found out I was pregnant. Connor, Dallon's brother who is serving a mission in Mexico, shared the news on his call home on Christmas.. It was the best. We are so glad that Connor was able to do that!

I hope that those videos work...

Being pregnant was such a breeze for me. It went by so fast! On July 28, 2012, one week after my due date, Brekka Lyn Reddish made her appearance into the world. She was so super cute. I just cried as soon as they put her in my arms. Dallon was such a good counter throughout all the back labor I had. He and Marci kept rubbing my back for me and it made it feel so much better. When I was dilated to a 7 I got my epidural. That was around 11:00am. I wasn't gettin no award for being tough so I got that dang epidural! haha. I'll have to go more into detail about that story some other time. Brekka will be 8 months in a couple of weeks now.  .It's been the best almost 8 months of my life. She is such a funny little girl and so full of character.
